Once　she　said；　with　heat：

〃I　shall　be　glad　to　leave　England。　Everything　is　so　meagre

He　became　angry　to　hear　her　talk　like　this；　he　did　not　know

why。　Somehow；　he　could　not　bear　it；　when　she　attacked　things。　It
